Frequency
These injections provide a very high dose of Vitamin D. For this reason, it is advisable to have an injection every 3 - 6 months.
Contraindications
While vitamin C injections are generally safe for many individuals, there are certain conditions or situations where they may be contraindicated or require caution.

- Have kidney disease
- Have liver disease
- Have an active cancer, receiving chemotherapy /radiotherapy or anti-cancer medication (please seek written confirmation from your consultant that they approve of you receiving this injection)
- Have evidence of hypervitaminosis D
- Have an allergy to the product
If you are taking corticosteroid medication or anticonvulscants, please discuss this injection with your GP and provide written confirmation that they are in agreement for you to receive this injection.
