DUTCH Complete (Adrenal + Sex Hormone Panel)
The DUTCH Complete is an advanced dried-urine hormone test that provides a comprehensive overview of adrenal and sex hormone function.
It measures 35 key hormones, including estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, and cortisol, plus their metabolites -giving a detailed picture of hormone production, metabolism and clearance.
This panel also assesses:
- Daily free cortisol and cortisone rhythms (your adrenal stress pattern)
- Melatonin (sleep-wake cycle support)
- 8-OHdG, a marker of oxidative stress
- Nine organic acids, including indicators for B12, B6, biotin, glutathione status, dopamine and norepinephrine/epinephrine metabolism, neuroinflammation and tryptophan dysregulation

When should you consider this test?
Consider DUTCH Complete to identify the root causes of sex hormone and adrenal imbalances in both men and women. It can be particularly useful for exploring:

This test is ideal when symptoms are complex, cyclical, unexplained, or not reflected accurately in standard blood tests.
Who should not do this test?
The DUTCH Complete is not suitable for everyone. You should not use this test if:
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding — hormonal physiology is significantly altered during these periods, making results unreliable and difficult to interpret.
- You are taking hormonal contraception (pill, patch, ring, implant, hormonal IUD) — synthetic hormones suppress natural hormone production, so DUTCH cannot map true ovarian output.
- You are on HRT without pausing or adjusting timing — while DUTCH can be used for HRT monitoring, dosing must be timed carefully. If timing cannot be followed accurately, results may be unreliable.
- You are currently using DHEA, progesterone, pregnenolone, or testosterone supplements without the ability to pause them for the required washout period — these will directly distort hormone levels.
- You cannot collect dried urine samples at the required times (e.g., shift work, caring responsibilities or unpredictable sleep patterns that prevent proper timing).
- You have severe kidney dysfunction — urine metabolite measurements may be inaccurate due to impaired filtration and creatinine correction.
