What this test measures

This comprehensive blood panel assesses the key hormones involved in female fertility, ovarian reserve, menstrual health, thyroid function and metabolic balance.

It combines the full Sex Hormone Complete panel with Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH), one of the most reliable markers of ovarian reserve and an important indicator for IVF planning and fertility outcomes.

A broad spectrum of hormones and related markers including:

  • Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) – ovarian reserve, IVF response predictor
  • Oestradiol, Progesterone, LH, FSH – menstrual cycle, ovulation, fertility
  • Testosterone, Free Testosterone, SHBG, DHEA-S – androgens, PCOS insight
  • TSH, Free T4, Free T3, Anti-TPO, Anti-TG – thyroid function & autoimmunity
  • Cortisol – stress and adrenal involvement
  • Vitamin D (25-OH) – fertility, immunity, hormone function
  • Lipids (HDL, LDL, Total Cholesterol), Total Protein, Globulin – metabolic and nutritional status

These markers reflect female reproductive health, ovarian function, menstrual regulation, metabolic status, and endocrine balance, as seen throughout the example report you provided

.

  • Results may vary depending on menstrual cycle timing; follow the enclosed guidance on optimal collection days.
  • If you are using hormonal contraception, some markers may be suppressed or altered.
  • This test is not suitable during pregnancy.
  • Your results are for informational purposes only and should not be used to diagnose or treat medical conditions without a qualified healthcare professional.

Preparation Instructions

Fasting for a blood test:

For the most accurate results, please fast for 8 hours before your blood draw. Morning appointments after an overnight fast are recommended.

Stay well hydrated:

Drink 2–3 litres of plain water the day before and at least 500ml 1–2 hours before your appointment. Good hydration helps improve the quality of your sample and makes the venous draw easier.
