Important preparation
Fasting
To ensure the most accurate results, please fast for 8 hours before your blood test.
Morning testing (after an overnight fast) is ideal.
Hydration
Hydration improves both accuracy and ease of blood collection. Please drink:
- 2–3 litres of water the day before testing
- At least 500 ml of water 1–2 hours before the test
This supports proper sample quality and helps blood flow more easily from a finger-prick or venous draw.
